Discover the beauty of one of the first photography techniques invented, cyanotype – also known as a blueprint. We will take the time to explore printing on various surfaces, and object. Cyanotype is a lovely process that is simple, fun, and a flexible art-making experience.

What we will Learn:

• We will learn the history of the cyanotype, and discover how artists have used this process.

• How to prepare cyanotype: mixing chemicals, coating paper, and exposing to light. 

• Creating images with botanical and found objects.

• Building your own composition
